The Boise State University Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. This one-year program qualifies graduates to write the Abdomen, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Physics & Instrumentation credentialing exams offered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Graduates are also qualified to write the Sonography credentialing exam offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Both credentialing agencies, ARRT and ARDMS, assess the ethical standard of all applicants. Criminal convictions may prevent the applicant from taking the certification examinations. Applicants should refer to each agency's website for clarifying information. The ARRT web site is http://www.arrt.org; the ARDMS website is http://www.ardms.org. The Boise State Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program

patient care field, and be
registered and/or licensed in good standing with the appropriate state and/or

care education at the time of application.

year accepted. Added
